TUXIS CORPORATION ANNOUNCES PROPERTY LEASE

NEW YORK - Tuxis Corporation (AMEX: TUX) announced today that on September 9, 2005 the Securities and Exchange Commission ("Commission") issued a notice of Tuxis' application for deregistration under section 8(f) of the Investment Company Act of 1940.  The notice provides that an order granting the requested relief will be issued unless the Commission orders a hearing.
