Fund to Use Futures and Options

Tuxis Corporation (AMEX: TUX) announced that at a Special Meeting of the Board of Directors held today, the Directors of the Fund approved the elimination of the Fund's non-fundamental investment restriction to purchase or sell options, futures contracts, including those related to indices, and options on futures contracts or indices.

Tuxis is a closed end fund listed on The American Stock Exchange whose investment objective is to provide an attractive level of long term total return on an after tax basis, consisting of current income and capital appreciation.
