TUXIS CORPORATION ANNOUNCES DEREGISTRATION

NEW YORK - Tuxis Corporation (AMEX: TUX) announced today that an order declaring that it has ceased to be an investment company was issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The order is effective immediately. Tuxis will continue as a publicly-held operating company listed on the American Stock Exchange subject to the reporting and other requirements of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
